Galvis, McGuire homer in loss

Toronto had its five-game winning streak come to an end Saturday night as it fell 6-4 at Baltimore. Freddy Galvis helped lead the Blue Jays offensively as he finished 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double. Reese McGuire went 1-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ended the game 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Buddy Boshers took the loss as he gave up two earned runs on one hit plus a walk without recording an out. Sean Reid-Foley gets the start this afternoon as he enters with a 1-1 record, 2.55 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 16 strikeouts over 17 2/3 innings.

Villar, Mancini power O's

Baltimore secured a 6-4 home win Saturday night over Toronto to improve to 37-73 overall and 16-38 at home. Trey Mancini helped pace the Orioles offense as he went 1-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. Jonathan Villar was 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk. Hanser Alberto was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Mychal Givens picked up the win in relief as he allowed one hits with three strikeouts over 1 1/3 innings. Paul Fry notched the save as he gave up one hit with no strikeouts or walks in a scoreless inning of work. Jimmy Yacabonis will start today for Baltimore as he comes in with a 1-2 record, 7.34 ERA and 1.82 WHIP with 33 strikeouts over 38 innings pitched.

MLB Betting Trends

Toronto

The Blue Jays are 4-1 in their last five games versus a right-handed starter. Toronto is 1-4 in its last five Sunday games.

Baltimore

The Orioles are 88-207 in their last 295 games overall. Baltimore is 0-5 in its last five game fours of a series.

Prediction:

I don't trust Yacabonis or the Orioles bullpen one bit here. Reid-Foley isn't perfect, he's manage to avoid big damage in limited time on the mound at the MLB level. With Baltimore struggling most days, I think Reid-Foley can navigate through enough while getting plenty of run support along the way.

MLB DAILY PREDICTION: TORONTO BLUE JAYS -145
