Austin Meadows went 1-for-3 with a double plus a walk. Avisail Garcia was 1-for-3 and scored a run. MLB Betting Trends
Boston
The Red Sox are 5-1 in their last six Monday games. Boston is 18-4 in the last 22 Rodriguez road starts.
Tampa Bay
The Rays are 22-4 in their last 26 Monday games. Tampa Bay is 3-7 in its last 10 series openers.
Prediction:
Tampa Bay was in a bit of a funk, but perhaps getting back on the winning side of the coin will put all that in the rearview. With Boston's offense so inconsistent, I really like the hosts here. The Rays can occasionally struggle against lefties, but there are a few guys in the lineup who should excel. Beeks has been solid as a starter or bulk reliever and I trust him in this spot.
