Oakland A’s Fantasy Spin
Ramon Laureano went 3-for-4 and scored a pair of runs in a loss to the Twins on Thursday. He singled three times in the contest. He was driven in by Khris Davis in the fourth and Jurickson Profar in the sixth. Laureano first gained notoriety for his defensive prowess but he is no slouch with the bat either. He has a .280/.328/.504 triple-slash with 19 home runs, 52 RBI and 62 runs scored. He's even chipped in 12 stolen bases. That is great stuff from a guy who was available on the waiver wire in most leagues early this season.
Minnesota Twins Fantasy Spin
Eddie Rosario came off the bench to deliver a three-run bomb in a 6-3 defeat of the Athletics. He was getting a day of rest until hearing the call of duty in the seventh inning. He came to the plate with two ducks on the pond and quickly launched a Yusmeiro Petit offering into the night. The blast gave the Twins a one-run lead that they would not surrender. In fact, they added to it with two solo shots in the eighth. Rosario has flown under the radar as one of the better fantasy outfielders over the past three seasons. He is slashing .284/.312/.533 with 21 home runs and 64 RBI despite spending three weeks on the injured list with a sprained ankle recently.
