Nola was dominant on the hill as he gave up only one hit while striking out 10 and walking one over seven innings to earn the win. Arano struck out the lone batter he faced for his third save. Santana had the only other hit in the contest by Philadelphia as he was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run. Corey Oswalt took the loss for NY as he surrendered three earned runs on one hit with seven strikeouts and three walks over six innings. Flores had the only two hits as he went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

MLB Betting Trends

Philadelphia Phillies

The under is 7-1 in the last eight Philadelphia games. The Phillies are 7-2 in their last nine games overall.

New York Mets

The Mets are 9-25 in their last 34 home games. New York is 59-27 in the last 86 meetings.

Prediction:

We don't have an MLB read on either of the two starting pitchers, so I'm going to make this easy and go with the better team here. That is the Phillies and given how much the Mets have struggled at home, I think it's the right play here.
