Byron Buxton was held out of Monday's lineup against the Indians with patella tendinitis. Buxton has been dealing with it throughout the year and has managed to play through it, but it felt a little worse than normal upon waking up on Monday. The Twins are optimistic it's nothing serious, so consider him day-to-day for now.

Aaron Civale surrendered three runs -- two earned -- in 5 1/3 innings Thursday against the Yankees. Civale exited with the score tied 3-3 in the sixth. He was able to keep the Yankees guessing with a six-pitch assortment tonight, but four walks hurt him. One of those was to Mike Ford with two outs in the third, and a Gleyber Torres hit and Josh Naylor error combined to score two runs afterwards. Civale will face the Twins next.
