Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Marcus Semien went 0-for-4 on Sunday in the Blue Jays' shutout loss to the Royals. The entire Blue Jays' offense failed to get anything going against Brady Singer and a trio of Royals' relievers, mustering only two hits combined in the losing effort. Semien has gone ice-cold at the plate over the last few games, as his batting average has tumbled to .182 (12-for-66) across 16 games this season. He's too talented to struggle for an extended stretch, but the Blue Jays need him to get going as their primary offensive table-setter.
Boston Red Sox DFS SPIN
J.D. Martinez went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, two RBI, and two runs scored in Monday's lopsided win over the White Sox on Patriots' Day. Martinez socked a solo homer against Lucas Giolito to begin the second inning and later added an RBI single in the seventh. The 33-year-old has cooled down a bit since his three-homer game, but he's still off to a tremendous start. He's batting .383/.439/.800 with six homers and 20 RBI through 15 games.
Blue Jays vs. Red Sox Betting Prediction
The Blue Jays are just 1-5 in their last six road games, are 2-5 in their last seven games following an off day and are 2-7 in their last nine games when facing an opponent with a winning record. The Red Sox, meanwhile, are 6-0 in their last six divisional games, are 6-1 in their last seven games as a favorite and are 9-2 in their last 11 games coming off a win.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: BOSTON RED SOX -115
