San Francisco Giants DFS SPIN
Alex Dickerson went 1-for-3 with an RBI single on Sunday, lifting the Giants to a 1-0 win over the Marlins. Dickerson's RBI single to right field off Marlins' starter Pablo Lopez with two outs in the third inning represented the lone tally for either side in the low-scoring affair. The 30-year-old outfielder is hitting .171/.256/.343 with four runs scored, two homers and five RBI across 39 plate appearances. He's also recently been forced to cede playing time to burgeoning slugger Austin Slater in left field, which further limits his potential fantasy contributions this season.
Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Bryce Harper went 3-for-3 with a solo homer on Sunday, leading the Phillies to a 2-0 victory over the Cardinals. Harper was absent from the Phillies' lineup on Saturday for precautionary reasons after waking up with lower back stiffness, but made an immediate impact in his return to the Phillies' starting lineup, reaching base safely in all four of his plate appearances in the finale of the three-game series. The 28-year-old slugger tattooed a mammoth 425-foot solo shot to right field -- his third round-tripper of the season -- off Cardinals' starter John Gant in the opening frame. He also walked in the third, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the eighth. He's recorded a whopping 13 batted balls with an exit velocity over 100 mph through 14 games, but only five of them have gone for hits so far. Based on the underlying batted ball data, he appears to be on the verge of going on an extended hot streak, if his health cooperates.
Giants vs. Phillies Betting Prediction
The Giants are 7-3 in their last 10 meetings with the Phillies overall, but are just 1-8 in their last nine games in Philadelphia. They’re also 1-5 in their last six road games versus a right-handed starter and are 1-4 in their last five games versus National League East opponents. On the other side, the Phillies are 20-7 in their last 27 home games, are 5-1 in their last six home games versus a right-handed starter and are 4-1 in their last five home games versus an opponent with a winning record.
