#1 MILTONTOWN (4-1) exits back-to-back local victories for the productive Ty Kennedy/Robertino Diodoro team. He should make his presence felt throughout from the rail.
#9 Gato Guapo (5-2) could not keep up with Pirate’s Punch in a salty optional claiming route at Oaklawn April 3. The early-pressing type is very good at one mile, and he gives Robertino Diodoro another strong contender.
#7 Grade One (5-1) stretches out in his second start after a claim, and he has run fast enough to win a race like this on multiple occasions. He figures to attend the pace.
#8 Dame Plata (15-1) figures to improve in his second start after a layoff. The fairly consistent gelding proved he could handle two turns in a runner-up finish in a Minnesota-bred stakes race last summer.
