Is it just my opinion, or am I right in observing that it is easier to win
on basketball plays than it is to win on baseball plays? Or, have I just
gotten better since I started for the first time betting at the beginning
of the last baseball season?

What is your opinion Cash and Blade and any others who would like to
comment? Do you have a greater win percentage in basketball compared to baseball?

Thanks, 8)

It's your opinion.

I know tons of people losing in basketball right now. All sports are equally tough to handicap for various reasons.

I think the reason most people lose money at baseball is because they foolishly lay too much. If your theory on baseball handicapping involves laying over -120 more than you bet underdogs you are gonna lose your shirt. Also your car and probably your home.

Baseball is actually a very profitable sport to bet because there are so many more games. But you have to approach it differently then football or basketball. The Yankee's and Red Sox aren't going to win every game and every time you pay -250 on a loss you dig your hole deeper and deeper.

I remember when I first got started online sports books didn't even take baseball bets. They would shut down after basketball and not open back up until football.

Ive retired for the season on BBall. I did really well up until the conference tourny's and up to the sweet 16. I did terrible & so did the services I usually follow. I was up a good bit until this horrible losing streak where I was winning 1 out of 4 games per day. So Im done with BBall and stickin with NASCAR & maybe some MMA or Boxing here and there until the football season.
As for baseball I think I will wait for the football season. Baseball seems harder to me than basketball.

Baseball is such a grind and I have to think that's what makes it more difficult to win at over the long haul and is probably why I hate it so much.
