The Pirates have been hitting the ball well as of late so it should be a fun time for them to play at Coors field. The Rockies always hit the well in their own park and tonight neither starting pitcher can be trusted. The bullpens can’t really be trusted either. Chi Chi Gonzalez has not pitched many innings this year and once he gets pulled the Rockies Bullpen becomes an adventure. I think this will be an explosive baseball game with perfect conditions for the hitters. Take the Over.

As many who have followed my previous sports of the year....VALUE is the name of our gambling game. Are we not getting the better team AND much better offensive mind AND 3 points?! Hmmm....at 4 where this opened in spots would have been an easy 4% play or higher...at this 3 I still think we have a ML flyer type play and a certain play on spot almost always!

HARD to imagine this isn't Vegas in a terribly bad spot here! Dabo may pull up and ease into the lockerroom by game's end, with A&M on the horizon and the main challenge on the schedule for the Tigers all year, conference or non...but there certainly won't be any of that in the first half. So Vegas is telling us this looks like a 49-13 type game here in favor of Clemson. With Clemson motivated and on fire and likely not a ton worse on defense (except the front 4) do we really expect GT to score enough to stay within 24 and/or score in the first half at all?? Hmmmm....sure feels like this might be on the lower side of first half spreads for Trevor and Co. Why not take advantage? Feels like a typical 38-3 run into the half time locker room and Lawrence begins his steady diet of a clean uni and just 45 minutes of stats to defend his Heisman!

So as we stated in our analysis of UCLA getting points in a game against what I consider to at least be a semi-inferior team...here we have a team at home in Nawlins and features a mismatch at head coach, with Willie Fritz >> Butch Davis in my estimation. Both teams feature returning QBs who are grad seniors and different aspects the offenses will focus, Tulane with the dominant run game and FIU with the dominant receivers on the outside! I think we get the better up and coming, trying to take the next step team, layiing less than a FG, and Justin McMillan at home...who can use his legs or arm to get the Wave on the board...opening up the run game for close to a 200 yard performance.
The Panthers won't quite have enough offense in a game that will definitely be CLOSE throughout almost definitely...but I think Tulane at home opens the season in a very important game to hold serve and gets the W 34-27

How long before Jimbo doesn't care about this game any more with the champs on deck? As with the Tigers also playing tonight but in contrast I think GT new offense with players not fitting is a HUGE problem while Texas State off-season transition might equal a bit of an issue for a while against much superior A&M...but a better tune up than Dabo will get with Paul Johnson leftovers.

Utah leads the overall series 61-34-4 and is currently on a current eight-game winning streak against the Cougars The Utes are ranked 14th in the country and are among the favorites to win the Pac 12 this season....
Utah brings back the bulk of its offensive talent that carried it to the Pac-12 title game and at the same time, Utah’s defense is one of the most underrated units in the country and should be able to force several turnovers.
BYU may be at home but the fact remains that there is a lot of youth for the Cougars. Utah has a stingy defense and they have quality talent to work with offensively.
Give me Utah in this matchup as they are the better team and as my 1st pick for this college opening season!
