'Zona is a scoring machine at home, averaging 87.3 points a game and going 9-1 straight-up. The Buffs have not gotten within seven points of the Wildcats in this building. The Cats cover.

With the expectation that Fred VanVleet (hamstring) will return for this game, the Raptors should have their full compliment of players at their disposal. There is also a chance that Karl-Anthony Towns sits out since the Timberwolves just played Friday and he had been out for each of their previous 15 games. Even if he does take the floor, he could see limited minutes. I like the Raptors to cover.

Kansas is the better team here by a lot, but this will be a tricky matchup for the Jayhawks. The one thing Texas' defense does really well is pressure you and force turnovers. Well, Kansas has struggled with turnovers on the offensive end all season long. That and free throws are its two biggest weak spots. Two things which can sometimes loom large on the road.

Two hot teams meet up here in Conference USA action. Charlotte is in 1st place in the Conference at 4-0 while W. Kentucky is in a 4 way tie for 2nd place with a 4-1 record. So when you first look at this game you are going to want to grab the 1st place dog Charlotte but that would be a mistake as Charlotte is no where near as good as their record might indicate. Charlotte is counterfeit as they have played one of the easiet schedules in the country. Charlotte's schedule is the #332 ranked schedule. That's 332 out of 353 teams. Only 21 teams have played a softer schedule this year. W. Kentucky has played the #176 toughest schedule. W. Kentucky won but failed to cover it's last game. My feeling is that W. Kentucky got caught looking ahead to this first place showdown. I love taking a good team following a scare in their last game because you can always count on getting their best effort in this one. My numbers have W. Kentucky winning by 11-13 points as my 5% COLLEGE GAME OF THE MONTH

Clemson started off the New Year with a win against this same NC State team in their building and then beat UNC which has owned them in ACC play. This team then beat Duke. NC State is a team that will push the pace in their home building and a team that will put up a lot of points. Clemson got out to a red hot start in the first half of the game they played last week and shot a percentage from the floor and the foul line which was way above their season averages. I believe they will come back down to life today and it will be themselves on the wrong end of a quick Wolfpack start at home. Take NC State.

TCU has not played in many road games. In the last one they were blown out by West Virginia. This is a Horned Frogs team that can knock down a lot three pointers. Oklahoma is out of control at times and can give up the three ball so this is a perfect spot for TCU on offense. Oklahoma can use their size to take advantage of a TCU team not playing the best defense right now. Oklahoma also has a lot of players on their roster that can cash in from the three point line as well. This should be a high scoring game. Take the Over.

Jay Ladner is going to need time to get this Southern Miss team on the same page. Rice has been scoring the basketball much better and has a lot of senior leadership. This is a Southern Miss Offense that just can’t score. Look for the veteran leadership for the Owls to propel them to a road victory against a team struggling in Conference USA play. Take Rice.

Chris Mack learned a valuable lesson the hard way last year and that is to finish. Louisville was up 23 at home to the Blue Devils and feel asleep only to look at and to be losers by blowing one of the biggest leads ever with just 10 minutes of basketball remaining. This Cardinals team will be focused to return the favor in Cameron Indoor Stadium where we have seen Duke look human for the first time in a long time. This is a very experienced Cardinals basketball team that is getting a generous amount of points for being a top level program. I don’t think this year’s Duke Freshman class is as good as last year’s. Take Louisville.

Adams ended up sitting last night in the front end of a B2B both at home...after being listed, then removed from the injury report...then downgraded...then OUT! Confusing as hell to play the NBA with this happening...but I leaned the Heat either way and would have played them HARD had we gotten a decent gambling chip from OKC info-wise.
Now we stand tonight with both these teams on no rest, finishing B2B tonight off losses...OKC at home and Portland in Dallas...where CJ left the game with an ankle and didn't return...Dame was sick...and the short bench gets shorter with Trent out as well.
Hard for me to think Adams isn't a go tonight...and maybe even close to 100% after sitting last night in what must be nothing very serious even listed as "knee".
Thunder are 6-0 ATS this season on no rest, will be at mostly full strength outside of Nader...assuming Adams goes, who is down there to wreak havoc on Whiteside while SGA and CP3 anf Schroder all go for 20+ each...with Gallo there to possibly be a 4th against a poor, fatigued, shorthanded Blazer defense more shorthanded on offense to keep up with an impressive OKC offense....also this is the final meeting and OKC needs to secure a season split...and the Thunder are in NO position to F around with ANY games...wide spread, home, or not...for this wildly right West playoff race.
Thunder win this by double digits going away similarly to the last meeting in December 108-96...or worse!
