ANALYSIS: Zac Gallen is legit: sub 1.00 WHIP, ERA at 2.16 and 20 strikeouts in 16.2 innings. These numbers come from three starts against the Athletics, Reds, and Braves. Those are some of the most potent offenses in the majors this year, and now Gallen gets to face the Rockies. This Colorado team is still 1-10 straight up and 2-9 ATS away from Coors. The Rockies need a small park and altitude to be good. So let’s take a gamble on Gallen producing. It definitely feels safer than the +110 line implies and that's exactly what we look for. With Austin Gomber and his 6.65 ERA on the other side, I am fully behind this spread play.

The Yankees looked good last night, and hitters don’t just see the ball for one night at a time. Expect the Yanks to do it again and win with little resistance. The Tigers are a paltry 5-9 ATS on the road, and three of those spread wins came in the road sweep of an injured Astros team too, so that stat might actually be inflated.
