On the other side, Chi Chi Gonzalez has lasted more than five innings just once in his four starts, the Rockies have lost them all, and the team's 28th-ranked bullpen won't provide much relief.

After pulling even in the AL Central last night, I think August is the month that the Twins kick it into high gear and extend their lead. We are betting against the Indians at an opportune time during their dominant stretch. Winning seven out of their last eight, regression is inevitable and the Twins go to their reliable five-year vet Jake Odorizzi. In his last two outings versus the Indians he has been lights out, pitching a total of 11.1 innings and giving up just two total runs. I like the better pitcher and the better team at home at a very fair line Saturday night.

Even so, I find value on the Angels here with against Rick Porcello and the Boston Red Sox. Porcello doesn’t have the fondest memories of these Angels. In fact, in his last outing he gave up four runs in just five innings. He's struggled against tougher competition and has been struggling in general as of late. Since late June, he has given up run counts of 6,6,4,6 and 5. Just consistently below average after his hot start. The Angels will break out of their eight game losing streak this afternoon in Fenway.
