This is a Free play on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Bombers look to remain undefeated when they visit Hamilton this week. The Ticats are the second best team in the CFL, with just one loss on the back end of a home and home series versus Montreal. The Bombers lead the CFL in scoring defense, while the Ticats lead the league in scoring. The Ticats have padded their stats in blowout wins over Toronto and Montreal. Their last two games haven't been all that impressive, just barely beating Calgary at home, and losing on the road to Montreal. The divide between the talent in the Eastern and Western conference is as wide in the CLF as it has been in the NBA in recent years. When I first looked at this game, I was not sold on the Cubs with Hendricks on the hill as he has struggled a bit on the road this season. But after really running the numbers, my projections and power rankings say we do have some value here with the Cubbies vs the Brewers. Note: Hendricks despite of being winless in July still garnered a 3.60 ERA. In 20 career starts against Milwaukee, Hendricks is 8-6 with a 3.22 ERA. Meanwhile the Brewers starter Gio Gonzalez will make his second start since a stint on the injured list for left shoulder inflammation and in his first start after the injury threw just 74 pitches, and could easily experience rust.
Cubs are 6-1 in their last 7 vs. National League Central.Cubs are 9-2 in their last 11 games following an off day.
CHICAGO CUBS are 30-17 against the money line vs. a starting pitcher whose gives up 5.5 or less hits/start this season.
