2014 NASCAR Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 Odds: Jeff Gordon Favored

MARTINSVILLE, TN (TheSpread) – The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Season goes back to Martinsville this week for the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 on Sunday.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Jeff Gordon is favored to win, as he has 4/1 odds. Other shorts odds to win are Jimmie Johnson (5/1), Brad Keselowski (6/1) and Kevin Harvick (6/1).
Gordon is one of eight drivers left in the Chase. He has four wins and 12 top 5s this year. Gordon is an eight-time winner at the track with an average finish of 7.0. His driver rating at Martinsville is 119.0, which ranks second.
Johnson is out of title contention. He has three wins and 10 top 5s for the season. Johnson has eight wins at this track with an average finish of 5.2., while his driver rating there is 124.8, which is best of any driver.
Keselowski is still contending for the title. He has a series-best six wins this year to go with 14 top 5s. Keselowski has never won at Martinsville, and his average finish there is 13.4. His driver rating at the track is 84.5, which ranks 11th amongst current drivers.
Harvick is in contention for the title as well. He has three wins this year to go with 11 top 5s. Harvick has one win at Martinsville to go with three top 5s. His average finish at the track is 15.8, while his driver rating there is 93.2, which ranks eighth in the series.
