2012 NASCAR Odds – Virginia 529 College Savings 250 – Busch Favored

RICHMOND, VA (TheSpread) – The 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series heads to Richmond International Raceway on Friday night for the running of the Virginia 529 College Savings 250.

According to oddsmakers, Kurt Busch is the favorite to win this race, as he has 33/10 odds. Other short odds to win are Denny Hamlin (7/2), Kevin Harvick (17/4) and Ricky Stenhouse (9/2).

Busch has competed in 13 Nationwide races this year, winning two of them. The average finish for Busch this year is 9.9.

Hamlin has competed in nine Nationwide races this year. He has yet to win a race but has five top 5’s. His average finish on the year has been 11.1.

Harvick won this race in 2010, 2006 and 2006. He has competed in 10 Nationwide events this year but hasn’t won any and has six top 5’s. Harvick’s average finish this year is 9.4.

Stenhouse is second in the point standings, 12 points out of first. He has competed in all 24 Nationwide events this year and has four wins with 14 top 5’s. His average finish on the year is 7.9.
