DOVER, DE (TheSpread) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Dover International Speedway this week for the running of the FedEx 400.
According to oddsmakers, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win this race with 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are Kyle Busch (6/1), while Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth each have 8/1 odds to win.
Johnson is fifth in the point standings, 48 points behind Biffle for first. Johnson has one win and five top 5’s on the year. Johnson has won six times at Dover and his average finish at the track is 9.3. His driver rating is 118.6 at Dover, which ranks better than anyone in the series.

Biffle leads the standings by 10 points over Kenseth. He has one win and seven top 5’s on the year. At Dover, Biffle has two wins and six top 5’s in his career. His average finish at this track is 12.3 and his driver rating is 105.4, which ranks fourth in the series.
Kenseth is second in the standings. He has one win and six top 5’s this season. Kenseth has two wins and 12 top 5’s at Dover. His average finish at the track is 12.2 while his driver rating is 110.0, which ranks second in the series.
Edwards is 10th in the point standings. He has now wins and just two top 5’s this year, but does have eight top 10’s. Edwards has one win and seven top 5’s at Dover. His average finish at the track is 7.3 and his driver rating is 106.5, which ranks third amongst current drivers.
