2012 NASCAR Odds – Coke Zero 400 – Matt Kenseth Favored

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – The 2012 NASACR Sprint Cup Series heads to Daytona this Saturday for the running of the Coke Zero 400. Here is a look at the odds to win this race.

This is just the second running of this race. According to oddsmakers Matt Kenseth is the favorite to win this race, as he has been given 10/1 odds to win. Nine other drivers have been given 12/1 odds to win this race.

Kenseth is the points leader in the Sprint Cup standings. He is ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr. by 11 points. Kenseth has one win and eight top 5’s on the year. At Daytona, Kenseth has two wins and five top 5’s in his career. His average finish there is 16.7, while his driver rating is 89.8, which ranks fourth in the series.

Kyle Busch is one of the driver’s with 12/1 odds to win and he comes into the race with the top driver rating at Daytona of 97.5. Busch has just one win at Daytona, but has five top 5’s. Busch is currently 12th in the point standings. He has one win this year.

Tony Stewart also has 12/1 odds and he has the second-best driver rating at Daytona. It is 97.1. Stewart has three wins and seven top 5’s in his career at this track. Stewart is currently ninth in the point standings. He has two wins this year.
