For some reason the National League just can't seem to come up with an All-Star game win and the players are struggling to come up with explanations following a 5-4 loss to the American League on Tuesday night.
``It's a little bit frustrating not to win one of these things,'' Cubs first baseman Derrek Lee said.

On a night of tricky hops, Ichiro Suzuki and the American League also bounced back to win.
Instead of a Barry Bonds splash shot, the defining hit at Tuesday's All-Star game was Suzuki's inside-the-park home run, the first in the game's history.

With Barry Bonds sitting out, this derby was dry - and Vladimir Guerrero was San Francisco's home run king for a day.
The Los Angeles Angels slugger won the Home Run Derby on Monday night, hitting 17 homers and beating Toronto's Alex Rios 3-2 in the final round of the All-Star competition.
