There are nine games on the NBA schedule tonight, highlighted by the Los Angeles Lakers visiting the Golden State Warriors. There are three other games that feature teams playing each other with winning records -- Bulls at Atlanta, Grizzlies at Houston and Jazz at Miami -- but the drama going on with the Lake Show appears far more appealing.

The story tonight should be about the Warriors doing some special things this season, with an impressive 18-9 record, rather than the mediocre Lakers at 12-14, but we can't take our eyes off of them. Their failings are so spectacular that there is an eagerness to see what they'll do next, and lately, they have been winning. They come into tonight's game on a three-game winning streak and are a 1-point road favorite.

The biggest spread of the night is the Bobcats getting 16-points at Denver. It was only a month ago when we suggested that maybe it's not too late for Michael Jordan to become an accomplished NBA executive after his Bobcats started out 7-5. Since then, they've lost 14 straight games.
