Wallace, Okafor leave Bobcats game with injuries

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Bobcats leading scorer Gerald Wallace and leading rebounder Emeka Okafor each left Saturday's game against Toronto with injuries.

Wallace strained his right groin in the third quarter, while Okafor strained his left calf a couple of minutes later.

Neither player returned, leaving Charlotte extremely short-handed. Brevin Knight (groin) did not dress and Sean May (knee) missed his 14th consecutive game.

Wallace had 12 points and six rebounds in 24 minutes, while Okafor had seven points and 11 rebounds.

CLEVELAND -- Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who missed the last four games to tend to family health problems, practiced on Saturday and is expected to play at Miami on Sunday, the team said.

Ilgauskas hasn't played since Feb. 11. He is averaging 11.7 points and 8.2 rebounds.

Sasha Pavlovic, who has become a key player for the Cavs off the bench, will miss his second straight game because of flu-like symptoms.

Backup Damon Jones is doubtful for the game because of strep throat. He has missed the last two games.

Cavs Zydrunas llgauskas will start today according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Lakers G Smush Parker sprained his left ankle and was unable to practice Saturday. He has been added to the injury report as probable for tonight's game.

Louisville F Juan Palacios has been downgraded to doubtful (back), and is not expected to play in today's game.
