Edmonton Oilers DFS Spin

Mike Smith (lower body) feels ready to return. Smith described his injury as the most difficult one of his career because of how nagging it's been. Originally he thought he could play on Nov. 11, but he didn't feel right. "The more I pushed it, it got worse," Smith said. "The more time I took off, it got better. Finicky thing. I’ve had injuries where there was a timeline when I would be back. But there didn’t seem to be any end in sight." Even now he's not 100%, but he at this point he feels good enough that he wants to get into a game and see how it reacts.

St. Louis Blues DFS Spin

Robert Thomas (lower body) practiced on Monday. Thomas skated between Pavel Buchnevich and Vladimir Tarasenko during the session, which is an encouraging sign. It's unclear at this time if he will be back in the lineup on Wednesday, but he is trending in the right direction.

Oilers vs. NHL Prediction

The Oilers are just 5-13 in their last 18 games in St. Louis and are 11-25 in their last 36 games versus the Blues overall. The Oilers are also just 2-6 in their last eight games overall, while the Blues have won eight of their last nine home games and six of their last seven as a home favorite.
