Who Oddsmakers Like: Buffalo. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bills are 2.5-point road favorites versus the Dolphins, who also opened as a 2.5-point underdogs. The total, meanwhile, sits at 42 points after hitting the board at 43.

Who the Public Likes: As of Sunday morning, 64% of betting tickets are on the Bills to cover the spread while 66% of the money is also on Buffalo.

Who the Trends Like: The over is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams. In the last eight meetings in this series, the home team is 6-2 at the betting window. And in the last 13 meetings, the favorite has cashed nine times.

Who We Like: Buffalo. The Bills need a win over the Dolphins and help to reach the playoffs but whether they get that help or not, I'm still rolling with the team with something to play for. If the line was inflated then maybe I'd consider the home dog. But with the spread below a field goal I like the Bills in a must-win game.

The Dolphins are 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six games coming off a loss. They're also 1-4-1 at the betting window in their last six divisional games and are an ugly 5-23 against the number in their last 28 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous contest. Finally, they're just 2-6-2 against the spread in their last 10 games overall so fading them in any situation has been profitable.
