Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said Jalen Hurts will start in Week 16 against the Cowboys. Pederson wouldn't commit to Hurts as the team's Week 16 starter right after Hurts threw for 338 yard and three touchdowns -- adding 63 yards and a score on the ground -- against the Cardinals. Pederson decided to go with the blossoming rookie over the broken veteran this week against the Cowboys. Far more than a rushing quarterback, Hurts' dual-threat potential makes him a potential fantasy league winner in Week 16 against the porous Dallas defense.

Dallas Cowboys DFS Spin

Andy Dalton completed 19-of-33 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns in the Cowboys Week 15 win over the 49ers. Dalton averaged just 6.3 yards per attempt and missed a handful of easy throws that would have helped the Cowboys move the ball much more effectively. It was Dalton's sixth game under seven yards per attempt despite having one of the best trios of receivers in the league at his disposal. For fantasy purposes, Dalton is a low-end QB2 only worth starting in Superflex leagues against the Eagles next week.

The home team is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams, while the Cowboys are a perfect 6-0 against the number in their last six games as a home underdog (including last week when they throttled the 49ers as a 4-point home dog). The Eagles, meanwhile, are winless at the betting window in their last five road games, are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games as a favorite and is 3-8 against the number in their last 11 games coming off a loss.
