Washington Redskins Fantasy Spin
Dwayne Haskins (ankle) is out for the Redskins' Week 17 matchup against the Cowboys. Case Keenum will draw the start. Haskins' ankle injury will require a few weeks of rest and rehab. The rookie was playing his best football of the season prior to exiting in Week 16, as Haskins had completed 12-of-15 passes for 133 yards and a pair of scores against the Giants' over-matched defense. Haskins also performed admirably in Week 15 against the Eagles after weeks of largely porous efforts. Hopefully the 2019 No. 15 overall pick can get some additional explosive pass-game weapons other than Terry McLaurin, along with a more modern offense that doesn't lean so much on first-and-10 runs.
Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Spin
Dak Prescott (shoulder) wasn't listed on the Cowboys' final injury report. Prescott will suit up against the Redskins in the Cowboys' season-defining finale. He managed to get in a limited practice on Friday after not practicing at all on Wednesday and Thursday. It was clear all week that Prescott would suit up come Sunday, although he's clearly not functioning at anything close to 100 percent. The passing game is set up about as well as possible this week against the Redskins' injury-riddled secondary.
Washington
The over is 21-7 in the Redskins’ last 28 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
Dallas
The over is 10-1 in the Cowboys’ last 11 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous contest.
NFL Week 17 Prediction
The over has been a great bet in this series, cashing in four straight when the two teams meet in Dallas, as well as in seven of the last eight meetings overall. The over is also 4-1 in the Redskins’ last five divisional games and is 11-4 in their last 15 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous contest. On the other side, the over is 7-2 in the Cowboys’ last nine divisional games, is 5-1 in their last six conference matchups and has cashed in 10 of their last 13 games coming off a loss.
NFL WEEK 17 PREDICTION: Redskins/Cowboys OVER 45.5
