ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed on Sunday morning that Drew Brees (foot) will play today against the Jaguars. Brees is currently dealing with a torn plantar fascia, which is the same injury that sidelined Peyton Manning for the past month and a half. Brees said all week that he would play today, however, and it appears as though he's on track to do so.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Saints are a 3-point home favorite over the Jaguars after opening as a 3.5-point favorite. As for the total, it opened at 51.5 and that's where the number currently sits.

Jacksonville lost its game last week against Atlanta and also lost running back Denard Robinson in the process.  Robinson might play through a foot injury that he suffered, but his team is playing out the string and is just 1-5 on the road this season, losing by an average margin of 8.3 points.
