Panthers interim coach Perry Fewell has confirmed Will Grier will start against the Colts. Early-week reports were apparently neither confirmed nor denied. Now they have been formalized. Grier drew major hype in certain segments of the draft world, but it is a major red flag that the third-rounder could not beat out Kyle Allen for No. 2 duties. The 24-year-old was truly awful in the preseason. All that being said, giving Grier a look for the final two games of a lost season is still the right move for the in-transition Panthers. Even though he's facing a defense that literally forced only one incompletion in Week 15, Grier is not worth a QB2 dice roll for the fantasy finals.

Indianapolis Colts Fantasy Spin

Jacoby Brissett completed just 18-of-34 passes for 165 scoreless yards in the Colts' 34-7, Week 15 loss to the Saints Monday night. After starting the season 5-2, the Colts have gone 1-6 over their last seven and were officially eliminated from playoff contention with this ugly loss. The offense barely moved the ball and didn't score until deep into the fourth quarter in garbage time via a one-yard Jordan Wilkins run following a gift pass-interference call in the end zone. Brissett has zero passing touchdowns in four of his last seven games and won't be a recommended fantasy option for Week 16 against the Panthers despite the plus on-paper matchup.
