Philadelphia Eagles Fantasy Spin

The Eagles downgraded Nelson Agholor (knee) to out for Week 15 against the Redskins. They also ruled out Jordan Howard (shoulder). Agholor was always a longshot after not practicing all week. The Eagles will be forced to go with JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Greg Ward and Robert Davis in three-wide sets. This would be more of a concern if the Redskins secondary wasn't so banged up. Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert should see the largest target shares with Agholor out.

Washington Redskins Fantasy Spin

Redskins placed RB Derrius Guice on injured reserve with a sprained MCL, ending his season. Guice's latest knee issue will cost him the final three games of his sophomore campaign after he missed his entire rookie year. Guice confirmed his upside this season, averaging a top-flight 5.8 yards per carry in one of the league's worst offenses, but also his downside, as he simply can't stay on the field. Still only 22, Guice did enough this year to keep himself in the running for lead-back duties in 2020, but his health should be at the forefront of both the Redskins and dynasty players' minds.

Prediction

There’s not much I like about Washington’s offense but Philadelphia isn’t exactly firing on all cylinders on that side of the ball either. The Eagles have been devasted by injuries at the wide receiver position, which has hurt quarterback Carson Wentz. Seeing as how they needed overtime just to muster 23 points against a bad New York defense, I’m apt to take the points with the underdog in this divisional matchup.
