Philadelphia Eagles

Updating an earlier report, Carson Wentz (back) is doubtful for Week 15 against the Rams. Eagles coach Doug Pederson called Wentz "questionable" when discussing his status earlier, but there was never much hope of him playing this week. A loss to the Rams would probably eliminate the Eagles, so there's a very real chance Wentz, who is currently nursing a fractured vertebra in his back, has seen his final snap of 2018. Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles will be under center for Philadelphia Sunday night in L.A.

Los Angeles Rams

Jared Goff completed 20-of-44 passes for 180 yards and four interceptions in the Rams' Week 14 loss to Chicago. It was Goff's worst game since his rookie season. One of Goff’s picks was on a Hail Mary at the end of the first half. His other three interceptions were staredowns thrown directly into coverage. This was a tough spot for Goff in primetime against the league's best defense on the road. He has a get-right matchup with the Eagles secondary in Week 15.

Goff has struggled in back-to-back weeks and despite the Eagles’ pass defense issues, I expect Sean McVay to get the ball in the hands of Todd Gurley a lot after getting away from the talent back too much a week ago in Chicago. The under is 13-6 in the Rams’ last 19 games after scoring less than 15 points in their previous game and is 5-2 in the Eagles’ last seven games overall.
