Rob Gronkowski (back) has been removed from the Patriots' Week 14 injury report. We know Gronk was playing against the Dolphins, but it is nice for the Patriots to remove all doubt. Although he has been clearly diminished all season, Gronk remains a top-five, high-upside TE1 against a defense that has been getting smashed up the seam in recent weeks.

Miami Dolphins

Kenyan Drake (shoulder) wasn't listed on the Dolphins' final injury report for Week 14 against the Patriots. Drake was a limited participant at all three practices this week. As he is most weeks, Drake will be a touchdown-dependent RB3 against New England. He face-planted against the Pats earlier this year, contributing three yards on three carries to go with one catch for 13 yards in a Week 4 loss at Foxboro.

That said, they’re also 4-1 against the number in their last five games versus the Fish and are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games played in the month December. Despite Miami beating New England at home as a dog last year and despite the Pats’ issues on the road against the Dolphins, I’m going to lay the points here. The cream rises to the top in the month of December in the NFL.
