Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Spin

Russell Wilson completed 21-of-31 passes for 240 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Seahawks' 37-30, Week 13 win over the Vikings Monday night. Wilson was 10-of-15 for 98 yards and a pick-six in the first half. On the pick-six, the ball was batted at the line into Wilson's direction and he then batted it down the field into the arms of a waiting Anthony Harris for an easy run-back score. Wilson picked it up after the break though, finding Rashaad Penny for a short score and David Moore for a wide-open 60-yarder. Wilson has failed to reach 250 yards passing in five of his last six games, lowering his fantasy floor in the process, as the Seahawks again refocus on running the ball. Wilson will be a QB1 next week against the Rams in L.A.

Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Spin

Todd Gurley rushed 19 times for 95 yards and one touchdown in the Rams' Week 13 win over the Cardinals. The Rams, like many offenses, could do no wrong against the Cardinals. Jared Goff finished with over 400 yards, and Gurley had a ton of room to run. Gurley continues to only pick up the yards that are handed to him while he plays through troubling knee issues, but he can reach a ceiling whenever the Rams decide to bring back the 2018 version of their offense. The former All-Pro will look for his first 100-yard rushing game against the Seahawks at home next week. Gurley will be an RB2.

The Rams have covered the spread in four of their last five divisional games and in 10 of their last 12 conference matchups.

Prediction

Jared Goff often plays better at home than he does on the road, but he’s coming off a strong performance last Sunday in Arizona. That said, I think that win over the Cardinals will give the Rams false confidence and they’ll come back down to earth tonight. This feels like a trap game for bettors, as we get the better Seattle team in a pick’em. That said, the Rams offensive line is bad and while Todd Gurley has looked better of late, give me Russell Wilson in a prime time matchup any day of the week. This game should come down to the wire and I’d rather have Wilson than Goff when things are ultimately decided in the fourth quarter.
