Philadelphia Eagles
Carson Wentz completed 27-of-39 passes for 306 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Eagles' 28-13, Week 13 win over the Redskins. This was as easy a win as they get in the NFL. The Redskins were...wait for it...forced to turn to never-was and never-will-be Mark Sanchez at quarterback in this one after Colt McCoy broke his leg in the first half. This was a game most were begging to just end. Wentz's first touchdown was a short hookup to Golden Tate for the duo's first TD connection in four games. The second passing score went to Wentz's BFF Jordan Matthews. The 6-6 Eagles travel to Dallas for a must-win against the 7-5 Cowboys for the top spot in the NFC East next week.
Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott completed 24-of-28 passes for 248 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys' 13-10, Week 13 win over the Saints. Prescott added five rushes for 22 yards. He also fumbled twice, losing one. It was a horrible red zone mistake late in the fourth quarter, but Drew Brees ended up "answering" just moments later with an even worse interception. One of Prescott's four incompletions was a should-have-been 55-yard touchdown to Michael Gallup, who was wide open after putting a double move on Eli Apple. Prescott just missed him. Otherwise, Prescott played excellent ball as the Cowboys sprung the massive home upset. He now has 10 days to rest up for a critical divisional matchup with the Eagles.
