Pittsburgh Steelers Fantasy Spin
JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) is out for Week 14 against the Cardinals. Smith-Schuster has been removed from the concussion protocol but has been severely limited by his knee injury. The Steelers will continue utilizing James Washington and Diontae Johnson as the primary targets. Both receivers have friendly draws against a bad Arizona defense. James Conner was also officially ruled out for Week 14.
Arizona Cardinals Fantasy Spin
Kyler Murray completed 19-of-34 passes for 163 yards and one interception in the Cardinals' Week 13 loss to the Rams. Perhaps some of this can be blamed on a less than 100% hamstring, but Murray was simply off all game long. Murray was under pressure often and should've had more than one interception. These games are to be expected during a rookie season, but it's not time to get pessimistic. Murray has been more good than bad this season and did have 28 yards and a touchdown on the ground to partially save his fantasy stat line. The Cardinals host the Steelers in Week 14.
NFL Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The under is 20-7 in the Steelers’ last 27 road games versus a team with a losing home record.
Arizona
The under is 10-2 in the Cardinals’ last 12 games after accumulating less than 150 yards passing in their previous contest.
Prediction
The under has cashed in four straight Pittsburgh games and it’s easy to understand why. The Steelers defense is excellent and harasses quarterbacks on a weekly basis, but Devlin “Duck” Hodges and Mason Rudolph are essentially asked to manage games because of their limited skill sets and inexperience. That leads to low-scoring games. On the other side, Murray struggled mightily versus the Rams and he could have issues moving the ball against Pittsburgh’s defense as well. The under is also 22-5 in the Steelers’ last 27 games as a road favorite and is 23-11 in the Cardinals’ last 34 home games.
NFL Week 14 Prediction: Steelers/Cardinals UNDER 43.5
