According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Titans are 9.5-point favorites to beat the Jets. The total, meanwhile, sits at 40.5 points. As of this writing, 58% of the public betting tickets are on the Titans to cover the point spread.

New York Jets

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Jets are planning to start Josh McCown against the Titans in Week 13. This is how it was trending after Sam Darnold (questionable, foot) was limited in practice all week. McCown starting will continue to downgrade the entire Jets offense. He's not a streaming option against Tennessee's top-10 secondary.

Tennessee Titans

Malcolm Butler (concussion) wasn't listed on the Titans' final injury report for Week 13 against the Jets. He cleared the concussion protocol and didn't even miss any practice time with his injury. It's debatable whether he actually suffered a concussion in Monday night's loss to Houston. Butler has been awful in his debut season with Tennessee, allowing a league-high seven touchdown passes over 537 defensive snaps.

Prediction

Don’t overreact to what you saw on Monday night. The Titans were in control of that game early but a fourth-and-1 stop by Houston inside its own 5-yard line, followed by Lamar Miller’s 97-yard touchdown run flipped that game on its head and the Titans never recovered. The Jets offense is extremely limited and the Titans should hold New York to 10 points or under. If they do, I like Tennessee to eventually pull away in the second half and cover.
