Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen completed 8-of-19 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown and rushed 12 times for 100 yards and an additional score in the Bills' Week 12 win over the Jaguars. Allen was far from perfect as a passer, but he hit Robert Foster for a 75-yard touchdown bomb and was dynamic on the ground, nearly scoring another touchdown late in the game during clock-killing mode. Allen's week-to-week consistency has been all over the place in his rookie campaign, but he has certainly "flashed" when well protected and put in comfortable situations. Allen will be a two-quarterback-league starter in Week 13 at Miami.

Miami Dolphins

Ryan Tannehill completed 17-of-25 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns in the Dolphins' 27-24, Week 12 loss to the Colts. Making his first start since Week 5, Tannehill added three rushes for 14 additional yards. The good news is that Tannehill's 33-yard first quarter strike to Kenyan Drake was the Dolphins' first offensive touchdown in 27 possessions. The bad news is, coach Adam Gase treated Tannehill like he was Sam Darnold in crunch time, calling unimaginative, horizontal plays as the Dolphins watched a 24-14 lead disappear. Tannehill's second score was a 74-yard jump ball against CB Pierre Desir where Leonte Carroo did most of the work. Although better than Brock Osweiler, Tannehill is one of the league's most limited regular starters. He will struggle for QB2 value in Week 13 against the Bills.

The Bills haven’t been as inept offensively over their past two games as they have been for most of the season. They scored 24 points a week ago on Jacksonville’s defense and 41 against the Jets on the road in their previous game. The over is 5-1 in the last six meeting between these two teams, is 11-5 in the Bills’ last 16 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game and is 4-1 in the Dolphins’ last five home games. With the total sitting as low as it is, the over is worth a play.
