Baltimore Ravens Fantasy Spin
Lamar Jackson completed 17-of-24 passes for 222 yards and four touchdowns in the Ravens' 41-7, Week 11 win over the Texans, adding nine rushes for 86 additional yards. With the Texans running away with it, Jackson took a breather with seven minutes remaining. With his latest detonation, Jackson became the first quarterback in league history to clear 60 rushing yards in seven-straight starts. It was still through the air where L-Jax made his biggest mark against the Texans' pathetic defense, hitting Mark Ingram for a pair of scores in addition to Seth Roberts and Mark Andrews. Jackson's longest completion of the day was a non-scoring 51-yarder to Andrews. He had another "Heisman"-type run, rumbling for 39 yards. Dan Fouts compared him to Gale Sayers and Barry Sanders as a runner. Jackson has eight days to rest up for a Monday night date with the Rams.
Los Angeles Rams Fantasy Spin
Todd Gurley had 25 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 36 yards in the Rams' Week 11 win over Chicago. The Rams made a point to feature Gurley after his light Week 10 workload. He touched the ball on 12 of the first 17 plays and rarely came off the field, playing 75 percent of snaps. Gurley converted a goal-line carry for his touchdown, but he wasn’t great in short-yardage spots, getting stuffed on a few third and shorts. Gurley had a touchdown vultured by Malcolm Brown with the Rams staying in the no-huddle after a Gerald Everett catch set them up inside the five-yard line. Still, this was the type of game the Rams needed from Gurley, who didn't have more than 18 carries in any game going into Sunday night. Gurley will face a Ravens defensive line that’s been gutted by injuries on Monday night in Week 12.
Baltimore
The over is 4-1 in the Ravens’ last five road games and has cashed in four of their last five games played in the month of November.
Los Angeles
The under is 5-0 in the Rams’ last five games overall and is 5-1 in their last six home games.
NFL Week 12 Prediction
I don’t trust the Rams to score enough to cash this over. Their offensive line has been dreadful this season, both because of injuries and poor play. That has affected Hared Goff, who looks nothing like the MVP candidate he was during the middle of the 2018 season. Gurley and the Rams’ running game looked a lot better last week but still doesn’t resemble the attack it was a year ago when the team made its run to the Super Bowl. The Ravens can score in a blink but Aaron Donald is always a handful to deal with so I think the Rams will keep Baltimore somewhat in check.
NFL WEEK 12 PREDICTION: RAVENS/RAMS UNDER 46.5
