Jets vs. Redskins NFL Week 11 Prediction
One of the worst matchups on the Week 11 schedule has the 2-7 Jets visiting the 1-8 Redskins at 1:00 p.m. ET. Coming off their second win of the season, do the Jets hold some value for bettors as a 2.5-point road underdog?

New York Jets Fantasy Spin
Sam Darnold completed 19-of-30 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Giants. He also rushed for 25 yards and scored on a designed QB run from the two-yard line. Darnold started off hot, completing his first seven passes and leading the Jets to scoring drives on the first two series. He faded after that, but he managed the Jets to a win in the second half. Darnold played his first clean game in weeks after committing eight turnovers the last three games. With a matchup against the Redskins in Week 11, Darnold is on the streaming radar and should be a popular DFS play.
Washington Redskins Fantasy Spin
Coach Bill Callahan said "we've got a pretty good rotational system" for RBs Derrius Guice and Adrian Peterson. Callahan added, "We feel pretty confident [Guice will] see quite a bit of action this weekend." Peterson sure isn't worried about his workload, noting, "Coach Gruden was here. He's no longer here, so different scenario." Chris Thompson (toe) remains sidelined. Either way, it's tough to see either Guice or Peterson receiving a true featured role inside of the Redskins' league-worst scoring offense. Overall, they've scored 17, 0, 9 and 9 points in four games since Callahan took over.
NFL Betting Trends
New York
The Jets are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five road games and are 0-3-1 against the number in their last four games coming off a win.
Washington
The Redskins are 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games coming off a loss.
Prediction
I don’t trust the Jets, but I trust Darnold over rookie Dwayne Haskins. Darnold looked sharp last week against the Giants and he doesn’t step up too much in class today against a Washington defense that ranks 21st overall in total yards and points allowed, respectively. Washington also has the worst offense in the league from a scoring standpoint, as it averages just 12.0 points per contest. That ranks 32nd in the NFL. At least on principle, I can’t back the Redskins as a favorite.
