Broncos vs. Saints Prediction
Can the Broncos rebound from their latest loss when they visit the explosive Saints as a small underdog today at 1:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Saints are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Broncos after opening as a 1.5-point favorite. The total, meanwhile, hit the board at 48 and has been bet up to 48.5.
BRONCOS KEY TRENDS: The Broncos are still 8-3-1 against the spread in their last 12 games despite failing to cover as a small road underdog last Sunday night in Oakland. They're also 13-5 against the number in their last 18 games coming off a loss and have covered the spread in 10 of their last 15 games when failing to cover the number in their previous game. That said, they're just 1-4 at the betting window in their last five games in November.
SAINTS KEY TRENDS: Following their thrashing of the 49ers last Sunday in Santa Clara, the Saints are now a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five games overall and are 4-0 against the number in their last four games coming off a win. They're also 19-7 at the betting window in their last 26 home games versus a team with a winning road record but are just 2-8-1 against the spread in their last 11 games played in November.
OUR PREDICTION: The Broncos have injury issues at the moment, with Brandon Marshall listed as questionable with a hamstring injury and corner Aqib Talib out for the second straight week because of a back problem. The Saints' defense is a sieve but Trevor Sieman has failed to move the ball at times this season and New Orleans has proven it can score on anybody. The Saints are usually a great home bet with Drew Brees and Sean Payton, but they are even more so this Sunday against an injury-plagued Denver defense.
