NFL Week 10 Opening Odds Report

NFL Week 10 Opening Betting Odds, 11/5/18 Point Spreads & Totals

Most of the odds have been released for Week 10 in the NFL. Which teams are generating the early money? We’ll start with Thursday’s excellent non-conference matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Steelers are 4-point favorites to beat the Panthers. The total, meanwhile, sits at 50.5 points. As of this writing, 75% of the public betting tickets are on the Panthers to cover the point spread, which dropped from the opening number of 7. Both of these teams are hot so for the first time in weeks, the Thursday night matchup will have some luster.

Moving to Sunday, 74% of the betting tickets are on the lousy Bills, who are 8-point road underdogs against the host Jets at 1:00 p.m. ET. Also on Sunday, the Saints are 4.5-point road favorites to beat the Bengals following their big victory over the Rams and are currently receiving 84% of the betting tickets. The Titans are also 7-point underdogs to the visiting Patriots, who beat Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on Sunday night despite not having Rob Gronkowski and Sony Michel.

Continuing with the early action on Sunday, the Chiefs are massive 17-point home favorites to beat the Cardinals while the Bucs are 1.5-point favorites to beat the visiting Redskins. Finally, the Bears are favored by a touchdown at home to beat the Lions, the suddenly hot Falcons are 4-point road favorites to beat the Browns and the Colts are 3-point faves to beat the Jaguars.

In the late action on Sunday, the Chargers are 10-point road favorites to beat the Raiders and the Rams are -10 to beat the Seahawks. As of this writing, 83% of the betting tickets are on the Bolts and 54% of the betting tickets are on the Rams, who lost for the first time this season in New Orleans on Sunday.

In the other primetime matchups, the Eagles are currently 6-point home favorites to beat the Cowboys, who are only receiving 15% of the betting tickets at 33% of the money. On Monday night, the NFL suffered another blow by putting the 49ers and Giants on primetime. In a game few will watch, New York is a 3-point home favorite to beat San Francisco.
