Saints vs. Bears Week 8 Prediction

Saints vs. Bears, 11/1/20 NFL Week 8 Betting Predictions

The 4-2 Saints will visit the 5-2 Bears at 4:25 p.m. ET in Chicago on Sunday and New Orleans is laying four points as road chalk. Are the Bears a good bet to cover as a home dog or is there more value somewhere else on the board?

New Orleans Saints DFS Spin

Michael Thomas (hamstring, ankle) was ruled out for Week 8 against the Bears. Saints will lean on Tre'Quan Smith and Deonte Harris since all of Emmanuel Sanders (COVID), Marquez Callaway (ankle, out) and Thomas will not be available Sunday. It's a miserable spot for all (Drew Brees included) against Chicago's defense, which has permitted the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wideouts and second-fewest to enemy quarterbacks. Fantasy players can slide Smith into FLEX spots in a pinch but are advised to look elsewhere in Week 8 for production.

Chicago Bears DFS Spin

Allen Robinson (concussion) will play in Week 8 against the Saints. This was expected after Robinson was originally listed as questionable. Robinson missed practice all week but cleared the concussion protocol and will start against the Saints. Robinson is a WR3 play that will likely see a lot of Marshon Lattimore in Week 8

Saints vs. Raiders Betting Prediction

The Saints are 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six games versus the Bears, including 3-0-1 ATS in their last four trips to Solider Field. They’re also 20-6 against the spread in their last 26 games when facing an opponent with a winning home record, are 5-1 against the number in their last six games as a road favorite and are 36-17 at the betting window in their last 53 road games. The Bears, meanwhile, are just 6-13 against the spread in their last 19 games overall, are 2-7 against the number in their last nine games versus an opponent with a winning record and are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games coming off a loss.
