Will the Chargers pull off yet another upset when they visit the Broncos at 4:05PM ET today in Denver?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Broncos are 3.5-point home favorites versus the Chargers while the over/under currently sits at 43.5 points. This point spread has moved more than any other line in Week 8, with Denver opening as a 6-point favorite before the line was bet down to the currently number of 3.5. The total has also moved, dropping from 44.5 down to 43.5.

The Chargers are seeking their first three-game winning streak since the 2014 season when they won three games from Weeks 11 through 13. But that could be challenging with San Diego losing seven straight divisional road games. The Chargers defeated the Broncos in Week 6, snapping a 10-game divisional losing streak overall.

The Broncos are 14-1 when allowing 20 or fewer points over the last two seasons, including a perfect 5-0 this season. They haven't lost consecutive divisional games since 2010-11 but are just 1-4 against the number in their last five games versus AFC West opponents. They're also 2-8-1 against the spread in their last 11 games playing on a Sunday following a Monday night game.

OUR PREDICTION: The Chargers continue to be one of the most competitive teams on a weekly basis. Despite finding ways to lose games earlier in the season, they're 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games overall and are a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last six divisional games. San Diego has already shown it can move the ball against this stout Denver defense and the Broncos are once again at a disadvantage playing the Chargers on a short week.
