Chiefs vs. Broncos Spread Prediction
The Denver Broncos seemingly had the Kansas City Chiefs on the ropes a few weeks ago when the AFC West rivals met on Monday night. Will they hang with the Chiefs on Sunday as a double-digit road underdog?
Game Snapshot

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Chiefs are 10-point favorites to beat the Broncos. The total, meanwhile, sits at 53.5 points. As of this writing, 60% of the public betting tickets are on the Chiefs to cover the point spread.
Denver Broncos
ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports the Broncos remain "hopeful" Royce Freeman (ankle) suits up for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Freeman has apparently shed his walking boot, though he did not practice either Wednesday or Thursday. He needs to get in at least a "limited" session on Friday to have any shot at suiting up.
Kansas City Chiefs
Eric Berry (heel) did not practice Thursday. Berry has yet to play this season, and it is fair to wonder why he was kept on the active roster at the beginning of the year. Justin Houston (hamstring) also remains out.
NFL Betting Trends
Denver
The Broncos are 3-12-1 against the spread in their last 16 divisional games.
Kansas City
The Chiefs are 11-1 against the number in their last 12 games overall and 6-1 against the spread in their last seven home games.
Prediction
At some point the Chiefs will come up short at the betting window but until that happens, there’s no reason to fade a red-hot team and a covering machine. The Broncos hung with the Chiefs in Denver a few weeks ago but they aren’t as good on the road as they are at home. They’re also 0-6 against the spread in their last six games versus the Chiefs and are 2-11 against the number in their last 13 road games overall. I’m just going to keep laying the wood with this KC team until it proves me wrong.
