Dolphins vs. Bills Week 7 Prediction
Once again, the Dolphins are receiving a huge number from oddsmakers. This time, they’ll be 17-point road underdogs versus the Bills at 1:00 p.m. ET. Can the winless Dolphins at least keep the game somewhat close for bettors?

Miami Dolphins Fantasy Spin
Dolphins coach Brian Flores is "hopeful" CB Xavien Howard (knee) will play Week 7 against the Bills but doesn't want to risk a setback. Howard is truly questionable, but he hasn't been as effective in 2019 as he's been in the past, so it doesn't change Bills WR John Brown's outlook much. The Dolphins have ruled out S Reshad Jones and C Daniel Kilgore. There's a reason Miami is multi-score underdogs in Buffalo this week.
Buffalo Bills Fantasy Spin
Devin Singletary was left off the final injury report ahead of the Week 7 game against the Dolphins. Singletary's hamstring injury is behind him, and he's expected to return this weekend. It's a great week for Singletary to suit up with the Dolphins coming to town, but he'll likely be splitting snaps and touches with Frank Gore, who has averaged 15.0 carries this season. Both Gore and Singletary are flex options in this matchup.
NFL Betting Trends
Miami
The Dolphins are just 1-6 against the spread in their last seven road games versus the Bills.
Buffalo
The home team has covered in eight of the last 11 meetings between these two teams while the favorite is a perfect 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings.
Prediction
I’m not going to lay 17 points with the Bills, regardless of who they’re playing. It’s simple: Buffalo loves to run the ball and play suffocating defense. It’s not a team that is going to strike for big plays too often in the passing game and while the Dolphins are horrendously bad, perhaps Ryan Fitzpatrick will have a little something for his former team when these two teams meet on Sunday. But the bottom line is that with a low total, I’ll take the heavy underdog.
