Raiders at Seahawks Spread Prediction
The Seattle Seahawks are only slight favorites to knock off the Oakland Raiders in the NFL’s first trip to London this season. Are the Seahawks a good value play for bettors?

Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Seahawks are 2.5-point favorites to beat the Raiders. The total, meanwhile, sits at 48.5 points. As of this writing, 60% of the public betting tickets are on the Seahawks to cover the point spread.
Seattle Seahawks
Seahawks OC Brian Schottenheimer said the team isn't going to "force" Rashaad Penny into the team's running back rotation. This comes after Penny, the Seahawks' first-round pick in April's draft, didn't play a single offensive snap in Week 5. "He’s looking for his opportunities and it’s going to come," said Schottenheimer "It’s about the little details for him and when you’re not getting the reps or you’re not playing in the game, can you stay in the game focused?" Penny missed a chunk of training camp due to a broken finger, which likely made his learning curve even steeper. With Chris Carson and Mike Davis operating as the Seahawks' main backs, Penny can be safely ignored in redraft leagues.
Oakland Raiders
Martavis Bryant (flu) is questionable for Week 6 against the Seahawks. The team is "cautiously hopeful" Bryant can play in London on Sunday. If he's unable to suit up, Seth Roberts and veteran Brandon LaFell would start on the outside along with Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson. Cooper's stock would be slightly increased without Bryant in the lineup, though the former would still be a boom-bust WR3/FLEX.
NFL Betting Trends
Seattle
The Seahawks are 11-4-2 against the spread in their last 17 games coming off a loss.
Oakland
The Raiders are just 5-12-2 against the number in their last 19 games overall.
Prediction
There’s no question the Seahawks are a shell of their former selves, at least defensively, but I see some value in Seattle today. The Hawks won back-to-back games and then gave the Rams all they could handle a week ago in Seattle before eventually losing 33-31. I have the Seahawks winning this game by 6-plus, especially with the Raiders playing as non-competitively as they did a week ago against the Chargers.
NFL Week 6 Prediction: Seattle Seahawks -2.5
