Tennessee Titans Fantasy Spin
Titans signed K Cody Parkey. Parkey was last seen tearing the heart out of every Bears fan in last season's NFC Wild Card loss against the Eagles. Parkey made just 76.7% of his field goals and 93.3% of extra points in the 2018 regular season. The Titans released Cairo Santos Monday after he missed four field goals in their Week 5 loss to the Bills.
Denver Broncos Fantasy Spin
Joe Flacco completed 14-of-20 passes for 182 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Broncos' road win over the Chargers. This was a textbook win for the Broncos' offense. They scored early -- Phillip Lindsay had a four-yard touchdown and Courtland Sutton found the end zone on a 70-yard catch and run -- and they then relied on the rushing attack and defense to milk out the clock. Flacco wasn't asked to do much in this one and that's what's needed for the Broncos to win games in 2019. The Titans' above-average defense will be a test a week from now, but Flacco and company will be heading back to Mile High Stadium in Week 6 with a win finally under their belt.
NFL Betting Trends
Tennessee
The Titans are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games overall.
Denver
The Broncos are 4-10-1 against the spread in their last 15 home games and are 2-7 against the number in their last nine games overall.
Prediction
This goofy Titans team routed the over-hyped Browns in Week 1, then lost as a home favorite to the Colts, then were spanked by the Jaguars in Week 3 only to dominate the Falcons in Week 4 on the road. So, what do they do a week ago? Lay an egg versus the Bills as a home favorite. They’re 0-3 against the number this season as a favorite and 2-0 against the spread as an underdog, with two outright victories. Good for the Broncos for picking up their first win of the season but Tennessee will shut down Flacco.
