Seahawks vs. Browns Week 6 Prediction
The Browns were embarrassed in San Francisco on Monday night, losing 31-3 to the 49ers as the entire offense struggled. The team returns home this weekend to host the Seahawks, who are 1.5-point road favorites. Is the value in the home dog?

Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Spin
Chris Carson rushed 27 times for 118 yards in the Seahawks' Week 5 win over the Rams, adding a five-yard touchdown reception. Carson's fourth quarter score was one of only two targets in the passing game. All alone in the end zone, he nearly bobbled the pass out of bounds. He held on and had a good laugh. Doing his best Marshawn Lynch impression, Carson was once again dragging tacklers with angry running. He has put a lid on his fumbling narrative with back-to-back elite performances. Week 6 opponent Cleveland is softer on the ground than through the air.
Cleveland Browns Fantasy Spin
Odell Beckham caught just 2-of-6 targets for 27 yards in the Browns' Week 5 loss to the 49ers. Yikes. OBJ had 2-20 last week on seven targets in the win over the Ravens, but since the Browns won that game, it was okay. The Browns put three points on the board in this one and got blown out of the building. Baker Mayfield has been atrocious behind one of the worst offensive lines in football. Coaches tried to get the ball in OBJ's hands, giving him a couple rushing attempts that totaled 15 yards while also letting him throw it once. That went for a 20-yard completion to Jarvis Landry. But OBJ also fumbled a punt return away. Outside of his Week 2 against the Jets that resulted in 6-161-1, it's been a bad five weeks to start OBJ's Browns career. He'll be a WR2 next week against the Seahawks.
NFL Betting Trends
Seattle
The Seahawks are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight road games.
Cleveland
The Browns are just 2-5 against the number in their last seven home games.
Prediction
This is a good rebound spot for the Browns. Their issues offensively are legit, as their offensive line is horrendous, and Mayfield has taken a step back from a pocket presence standpoint. But they discovered their running game two weeks ago in Baltimore and had a decent ground attack going in Santa Clara on Monday night before having to ditch it once the Niners jumped out to a big lead. Teams that were embarrassed in prime-time games the week before have a tendency to play better the following week. Schedule makers didn’t do the Browns any favors here with them playing on short rest while the Seahawks got an extra couple days of preparation after playing last Thursday. But I’m going to fade the public here and take Cleveland in a mild upset.
