Saints vs. Jaguars Week 6 Prediction
The Saints are unbeaten with Teddy Bridgewater under center but are 1.5-point road underdogs this Sunday to the Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. ET. Is this a potential trap game for bettors or are the Saints still the best play on the board?

New Orleans Saints Fantasy Spin
Drew Brees (thumb) "hopes" to be throwing a regular-sized football "sooner rather than later." Brees said his rehab is going as planned, and they are still "fast-tracking this thing as fast as we can." The veteran is still likely a couple of weeks away since he's not throwing an NFL ball yet, but it sounds like progress is making made at a reasonable pace. Brees may be eyeing a return after the Saints' Week 9 bye
Jacksonville Jaguars Fantasy Spin
D.J. Chark caught 8-of-11 targets for 164 yards and two touchdowns in a Week 5 loss to the Panthers. Chark's second-year leap is incredible. He scored on a beautiful 37-yard rope from Gardner Minshew on the opening drive. Then later in the second half, Chark hauled in a twisting sideline grab where he reached the ball just short of the pylon while tapping to feet inbounds. While he wasn't a name on many fantasy draft boards this offseason, Chark is settling in as a solid start each week. His connection with Minshew at multiple levels of the field is clear.
NFL Betting Trends
New Orleans
The Saints have covered in 21 of their last 29 games on the road but are just 3-7 against the number in their last 10 games overall.
Jacksonville
The Jaguars are winless against the spread at 0-5 when playing in the month of October.
Prediction
This feels like a trap game. Why are the 4-1 Saints not favored against a Jaguars team that crashed back to earth last week in a 34-27 loss to the Panthers? Bridgewater finally took more chances vertically last week in the Saints’ win over the Bucs but that’s not typically his game. I think he’ll resort back to short, quick passes that allows him to get the ball out of his hand quickly and evade the rush but also limits Sean Payton’s passing attack. The Jags have been a tough out since Gardner Minshew took over under center and Leonard Fournette is finally showing signs of life in this Jacksonville running game.
NFL Week 6 Prediction: Jacksonville Jaguars -1.5
