Seahawks vs. Raiders Total Prediction
The NFL makes its first trek to London in 2018, as the Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders will meet Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Game Snapshot
265 Seattle Seahawks at 266 Oakland Raiders
1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday, October 14
Wembley Stadium, London
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Raiders are 2.5-point favorites to beat the Raiders. The total, meanwhile, sits at 48.5 points. As of this writing, 60% of the public betting tickets are on the Seahawks to cover the point spread.
Seattle Seahawks
Russell Wilson (hamstring) is practicing in full for Week 6 against the Raiders. Traditionally known as one of the league's more mobile quarterbacks, Wilson has mostly avoided running the year, logging just 11 carries over his first five games. That will probably remain the case as he continues to work through hamstring issues. Wilson will be a borderline QB1 against the Raiders in Week 6. That game will be played at Wembley Stadium in London.
Oakland Raiders
Marshawn Lynch (hip) was limited at Wednesday's practice. It's a new injury for Lynch. The Raiders like to manage his practice reps, so this isn't a Week 6 concern. Lynch is an RB2 for Sunday's matchup with Seattle.
NFL Betting Trends
Seattle
The under is 5-2 in the Seahawks’ last seven games coming off a loss.
Oakland
The over is 13-5 in the last 18 meetings between these two teams.
Prediction
Long gone are the days where you could count on a stout defensive performance from the Seahawks. Without Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman and some of the other pieces that led them to back-to-back Super Bowls, this Seattle defense is a shell of its former self. Meanwhile, the Raiders could use Khalil Mack because they can’t generate any pressure, which is problematic since they’ll face the mobile Russell Wilson on Sunday. I like the over.
