Tennessee Titans Fantasy Spin

Coach Mike Vrabel told reporters Friday that the team is not looking at a QB change "right now." Marcus Mariota may have cleared 300 yards in the Titans' Thursday night loss to the Jaguars, but his performance was brutal for the majority of the contest. He's averaging career-low marks in completion rate (61%) and QBR (38) despite being surrounded with easily the most-talented supporting cast of his career. Ryan Tannehill figures to get a chance under center sooner rather than later if Mariota continues to struggle.

Atlanta Falcons Fantasy Spin

Matt Ryan completed 29-of-34 passes for 304 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Falcons' 27-24, Week 3 loss to the Colts. The Atlanta offense was stuck in neutral most of the first half, as Ryan went 7-of-11 for 88 yards and the interception before the break. His interception was woefully bad in the red zone that led to three points for the Colts. Ryan was on fire in the final 30 minutes, however, as he went 22-of-23 in the second half and tossed a pair of touchdowns to Austin Hooper in the red zone before hooking up with Julio Jones for a 10-yard score. Ryan will be back home for another dome game next week against the lowly Titans.

NFL Betting Trends

Tennessee

The over is 18-2-1 in the Titans’ last 21 games when playing the fourth game of the season.

Atlanta

The under is 4-1 in the Falcons’ last five home games but is 10-4 in their last 14 games played in September.

Prediction

Ryan has had his moments this year, but his six turnovers have been incredibly detrimental. He has thrown a crucial red zone interception in every game this year and his arm strength looks like a serious issue. Dan Quinn is a defensive minded head coach and at some point, I wouldn’t be shocked if he bends OC Dirk Koetter’s ear and essentially force the play-caller to run the ball more in order to protect his defense. The Titans, meanwhile, are already a run-heavy team and that’s unlikely to change. This is too many points to lay with the over.

NFL Week 4 Prediction: Titans/Falcons UNDER 45
