Saints vs. Seahawks Week 3 Prediction
The Saints won’t have Drew Brees on Sunday when they visit the Seahawks at 4:25 p.m. ET. Will Teddy Bridgewater play better than he did in relief of Brees last week and lead the Saints to at least a cover today in Seattle?
Game Snapshot
481 New Orleans Saints (+5) at 482 Seattle Seahawks (-5); O/U 45
4:25 p.m. ET, Sunday, September 22, 2019

Public Betting Trends
According to our NFL Football Public Betting Chart page, the Seahawks are receiving 68% of the betting tickets from online sportsbooks.
New Orleans Saints Fantasy Spin
Ted Ginn (thigh) was removed from the Week 3 injury report. Ginn was limited early in the week before getting in a full practice Friday. Tre'Quan Smith's (ankle) absence sets up Ginn for increased targets against the Seahawks, but the entire Saints offense should be downgraded without Drew Brees.
Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Spin
Seahawks DE Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) will make his debut in Week 3 against the Saints. Ansah was removed from the injury report after a full week of practice. Coach Pete Carroll said Ansah is in "good shape" and should see a "bunch of plays." Ansah's snaps still figure to be limited in his first game, but his return is a boost to Seattle's defensive line.
NFL Betting Trends
New Orleans
The Saints are 0-7 against the spread in their last seven games dating back to last season but have covered in 20 of their last 28 road games.
Seattle
The Seahawks are 7-2-1 against the number in their last 10 conference games and 10-4-1 against the number in their last 15 games overall.
Prediction
The Saints will start Bridgewater today despite some calls for Taysom Hill to get a crack. Bridgewater is better than what he showed last week in L.A., where he had a difficult time moving the ball versus Aaron Donald and the Rams. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are coming off a big victory in Pittsburgh as a 4-point underdog and with Brees out, this line has gotten too inflated. Seattle is a wild card contender, but New Orleans still has more than enough talent, even without Brees, to keep the game close.
